Dylan here. Once again, Avatar has missed the Cable Top 40. 307 did not garner 3.2 million viewers. What makes it worse this week, is that top 40 this week was Spongebob dominated. It held 17 out of the 40 spots and 5 out of the top 10 spots. Isn't it about the time Avatar should start placing in the top 40... |

Jake here, announcing that Nickelodeon is running a "Superstuffed Nicktoons Weekend" event. It appears as though this is the actual event taking Avatar's place on November 23rd, as it lasts from November 22nd-25th, the Spongebob marathon has been rescheduled. Why am I mentioning this? Well they are leaving the voting for the Top Nicktoon moments up to the fans on Nick.com. Avatar has several "clips" in the running. The voting page is located here . The first clip is located on the first page, and several more clips are burried on the 6th page. So if you want to show your support for Avatar, or for any other show (i.e. Rocko, Invader Zim, old school Rugrats, Danny Phantom, etc.), head over to that link and submit a ballot or three!

Well then come to Dongbu Feng Chat all of Wednesday Night for Halloween related Avatar events! Dylan here. CableTvTalk reports that the hour long special "Day of Black Sun" has been pushed back from November 23rd until November 30th. It will premier at 8 PM EST. November 23rd on Nick will consist of a huge Spongebob marathon. This may be a good move for Nick as this could provide more time to advertise the special. CabletvTalk also provides the following summary of the invasion: "With the day of the eclipse upon them, the kids along with a rag-tag force of old friends enact their long-planned invasion of the Fire Nation. As the invasion force fights their way to the Fire Nation capital, the kids help Aang to find the Firelord in time for the eclipse. But there are a few surprises…" |
