All known info about the new series will be posted here. Check the 'last updated' date to see how actually up to date it is, but it will most likely be updated as soon as new information comes out.

- New series is called "The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra"
- Series will premier on Nick in mid-2012
- Series will be animated
- Created by Mike and Bryan
- 26 total episodes. 12 episode first season, 14 episode second season.
- Promotional image

- 2nd image

- Main character is a 16 or 17 year old girl Avatar from Southern Water Tribe named Korra who is "hotheaded, inprdependent and ready to take on the world." Also she is "passionate, rebellious, and fearless."

- Mike: "Korra, we kind of describe her as a fiery waterbender. She’s very pugnacious. Kind of in your face...she’s very tough, very headstrong, not scared to get into a fight, and kind of picks fights with people too sometimes."
- Takes place 70 years after A:TLA
- Korra has learned earth, water, and fire but needs to learn air
- Plot summary: "Korra’s quest eventually leads her to Republic City–the epicenter of the world of “Avatar.” A metropolis powered by steampunk-type technology, the city is inhabited by people from all nations. Korra finds that Republic City suffers from rampant crime and is also dealing with an anti-bender revolt. Korra is tutored by Aang’s son, Tenzin, is the ways of airbending."
- Aang is dead
- Bryan: " That was another new thing we wanted to do is root it in one big complex location but mainly one place."
- Mike: "I don’t want to give anything away, but rest assured there’s a definite link between the old series and this one."
- Bryan: "It’s fair to say we’re dealing with some sophisticated things and the show is growing up a bit. "
- Tenzin is the son of Aang and Katara

- Mike about the villain: "He’s kind of an anti-bending  revolutionary guy. Very scary dude. And definitely is quite a challenge for Korra."

- The Cabbage Merchant's legacy will be present in some form
- "...that whole generation has died. It's the next generation."

- Bryan: "The difference is these people have cars and motorcycles and things. There’s definitely a different dynamic. I’d say the show is more sophisticated than the original series but it has the same balance of tones we’ve always liked with humor, action, drama, scary stuff and romance."

- "Skeleton in the Closet" is an episode name
- Korra will still keep the "humor, fun hybrid animals, and action."

- There will be plenty of romance in the story
- Aang will have some kind of presence "in his way."

- The central location is a city founded by Aang and Zuko. It's name is United Republic aka Republic City.
- The new Team Avatar consists of Korra and brothers Mako - a firebender and Bolin - an earthbender.
- Mako is “brooding and Zuko-ish,” but “a little lighter.”
- Bolin is “his younger, goofier brother” and is modeled after the original male earthbender design for what became Toph.
- Bolin has a pet “red panda black footed ferret” aka a “fire ferret” named Paboo.
- Korra’s animal guide is a female polar bear dog named Naga.
- Anti-benders - Revolutionaries, aka the Equalists - use chi-blocking to stop others from bending.
- Toph traveled the world teaching metal-bending, and there is now an elite core of metalbending police in Republic City.
- Toph's daughter, Chief Bei Fong, is now chief of the metalbending police.
- Aang and Katara have 3 kids, of which Tenzin is the youngest and the only airbender.
- Tenzin himself has 3 kids. Meelo is the youngest. All are airbenders. Another kid is on the way.
- Jinora is the oldest of Tenzin’s kids and is the “bookworm of the group.”
- The middle child is named Ikki and Tenzin’s wife is Pema. We are not sure of both of those spellings.
- Tenzin and his family live in a sanctuary off the bay of Republic City called “Air Temple Island” which is where Korra trains with Tenzin.
- “Tenzin is this serious kind of guy but when his kids get all crazy on him he can be very funny. He’s always trying to be the Zen master, but he isn’t so good at it sometimes especially when he looses his patience with the kids.”
- Aang discovered a new variety of lemur and flying bison. They will have a bigger part in the 2nd season.

- The score is described half as: "What if in the 1920's, the Chinese invented Jazz?" The other half will be more traditional.

-  Bryan: "When we first starting talking to Nickelodeon about doing a new series in the ‘Avatar’ world, they asked if we could do shorter arcs—more like a show like ‘24’where there’s a specific villain or challenge for that particular season."
- Mike and Bryan will write each episode

- Returning crew: Sifu Kisu, Joaquim Dos Santos, Ian Graham, Ryu Ki Hyun, The Track Team, JM Animation, Andrea Romano

- Dante Basco will voice a character, who has something to do with Zuko, somehow

- A 'line test' for Korra.

- Main voice cast:

Janet Varney as KORRA
Kiernan Shipka as JINORA
Daniel Dae Kim as HIROSHI SATO
David Faustino as MAKO
Seychelle Gabriel as ASAMI
Lance Henriksen as LIEUTENANT
P.J. Byrne as BOLIN

- Other voice actors: Dee Bradley Baker, Rob Paulsen, Eva Marie Saint, Richard Epcar

- Joaquim Dos Santos and Ryu Ki Hyun co-direct every episode of season 1

- How Aang dies will probably be shown
