Premise:
Season 1:
The legend begins as siblings Katara and Sokka discover a special young boy in an iceberg near their home at the South Pole. Turns out he is the Avatar, the only one who can master all four elements, and the only one who can stop the Fire Nation from winning a hundred-year old war. Throughout the first season Aang (the Avatar), Katara and Sokka travel on top of Appa, Aang's flying bison, and collect a pet lemur named Momo along the way. Throughout their journey they meet many interesting characters, but also must evade critical foes of the Fire Nation, Prince Zuko and Admiral Zhao. Season 1 wraps up with a climactic fight at the North Pole.

Season 2:
Aang and his friends continue their journey. In season 2 they pick up a new member to the team, a blind earthbender named Toph. However, they also have a new enemy, Princess Azula and her friends Mai and Ty Lee. They discover shocking revelations throughout the entire season as their journey gets tougher. Zuko and Iroh are now fugitives from the Fire Nation. In a climatic season finale, all three groups end up meeting at Ba Sing Se and unexpected alliances are formed.
