Countdown to "The Last Airbender" Premiere!

Dongbu Feng has several exclusive features on our site, here are a few of the newest:

  • Dongbu Feng Widget - A widget for Mac computers that gives you the latest DF site news, forum posts, blogs, and podcasts!
  • Uncle Iroh Soundboard - Relive the greatest quotes from the world's favorite Uncle with over 80 of Iroh's most memorable quotes!

C-Box Page/Rules

In case you haven't noticed, yes this is a different C-Box. The other C-Box was a premium one (which means you have to pay) and I figured it doesn't make any sense to keep paying for something we could be getting for free. So yeah it is a downgrade but we can live with it I think! There was no way I could downgrade the other C-Box so we get a whole new one, isn't that special? Anyway, enjoy!

Fanlistings:

Iroh is the mentor and father figure in Prince Zuko’s life. He is the only family that the young prince has since his banishment and has spent the last two years training Zuko in his Firebending and accompanying him on his search for the Avatar. But before this Iroh was one of the greatest generals in the Fire Nation.  He once laid siege to the Earth Kingdom capital of Ba Seng Se for six hundred days it is unclear why Iroh retired from his position as a general, perhaps it was his kind nature that lead him away from fighting. For now it is all speculation.

Iroh is more than he appears. He is a very talented fire bender and hand to hand fighter, as he was able to beat three Earthbenders without using his bending. But there are other things that we see him do that show that he is far more than a simple firebender. His ability to see Aang in the spirit world when no one else could is a sign that he is more than what he appears, also his ability to redirect a lightning bolt away from Zuko’s ship and into the sea. We will have to wait and see how and why he can do all these things.

But Iroh isn’t all business, in fact he’s very rarely business spending most of his current time drinking tea and playing a sporting game of Pai Sho with a few members of the crew. His age hasn’t been determined but it is fair to say he is in his 50’s to 60’s.  He is the voice of reason of the ship helping to mediate situations as we saw on “The Storm” he is a very wise man and one of only a few companionate firebenders we have seen. As the series progresses it is fair to say that Iroh will become an even more loved character and with any luck his past will be brought more to the light.
