Aunt Wu is a fortune teller who has been making predictions for a village and its people for about twenty years. Over time, she had become very popular among the villagers and they have become somewhat addicted on getting their fortunes told and believing them. While Aunt Wu does indeed have a gift of telling fortunes, for she is right most of the time, her predictions aren’t always right.
This fortune teller, who seems to be in her late forties to early fifties (and it seems she is single and looking for tea loving, grey haired, retired Fire Nation generals), has grey, streaky hair and kind eyes. Aunt Wu is of a calm, understanding nature and who rarely seems to lose her temper. However, she does have issues with overzealous fortune telling fans; namely Katara.
Even as a fortune teller, Aunt Wu is at a belief that destinies can be shaped by that person, and from her we lea that valuable lesson.
Wuroh shippers have become at large since the season 1 episode "Bato of the Water Tribe". In the episode, Aunt Wu asked Iroh if he'd like to hear his fortune. He responded, "At my age there is only one great mystery left, and I just assume leave it a mytsery." Since that interaction, people have been calling all over for the two to get together. It's amazing!
