Countdown to "The Last Airbender" Premiere!

Dongbu Feng has several exclusive features on our site, here are a few of the newest:

  • Dongbu Feng Widget - A widget for Mac computers that gives you the latest DF site news, forum posts, blogs, and podcasts!
  • Uncle Iroh Soundboard - Relive the greatest quotes from the world's favorite Uncle with over 80 of Iroh's most memorable quotes!

C-Box Page/Rules

In case you haven't noticed, yes this is a different C-Box. The other C-Box was a premium one (which means you have to pay) and I figured it doesn't make any sense to keep paying for something we could be getting for free. So yeah it is a downgrade but we can live with it I think! There was no way I could downgrade the other C-Box so we get a whole new one, isn't that special? Anyway, enjoy!

First Appeared: Bato of the Water Tribe
Last Appeared: The Guru

Fanlistings: None

A great friend of Hakoda (a.k.a. Sokka and Katara’s father), Bato is resourceful, and apparently not alienated with the siblings. When he leads the trio into a discussion of the years pre-post the year of Hakoda’s departure from the Southernn Water Tribe, it is evident Bato and Hakoda were close friends.

When he discovers the siblings never had his ‘right of passage’ a ritual when one turns 14, he volunteers to hold the ceremony for them. By this action, we can assume he deems them as family.

On a mission with Hakoda and the crew, Bato is left behind due to his injuries. Towards the end of the episode, he sets out to reunite with the group. He is known to stay in the background in disputes, unbiased and composed, he is a true water tribesmen.

Bato rejoined his fellow warriors at the Rendezous point in the Eastern Earth Kingdom.  Since then, he has been helping out Hakoda and his men with strategy planning and carrying stuff.  He is seen with Hakoda in "The Guru" when Sokka comes in.  It is unknown if he can still fight at full strength yet, as he is still seen to have severe scarring, but he may be just taking it like a man.
