Fanlistings: NoneThe ‘calm man’ plays a brief role in the beginning and end of "The Fortuneteller". He is discovered being attacked by an immense platypus-bear, and appears to hold a demeanor of indifference. When Aang ‘saves’ him from the creature, he appears thankful, and hands Aang a mysteriously wrapped parcel. The parcel turns out to be an umbrella that the fortune teller predicted they would need.
Sokka grows a grudge towards the man, refusing to accept the fortune teller was real, claiming she was a fraud. We know nothing of the man’s name…other than that he’s one of the many residents relying on the fortune teller.
He's just another member of this crazy Avatar world. Him and his neighbors are the calmest on the planet, and, dare I say, more calm than most everyone in our world. Aunt Wu is their idol.
