Yaguda is the resident healing master at the Northern Water Tribe. She teaches women how to use their waterbending abilities to heal, since they are not allowed to use their abilities for any other purpose. She appears to be a good woman who believes in the beliefs of her people and is very kind. A childhood friend of Katara and Sokka’s grandmother, Kana, Yaguda recognized Katara’s necklace as the one a “young waterbender” made for her. She explained that Kana decided to leave the Northern Water Tribe because she did not want to be forced to marry someone she did not want to, and they lost touch after Kana found a new home at the Southernn Water Tribe. Overall, Yaguda is an elderly woman who is possibly married. (She does have a necklace on) The picture on this page isn’t that great (sorry about that) but it appears as if she does have one on. Her voice is a bit like Gran Gran’s in that it’s a voice of an older woman. Her skin is much paler than Katara’s, and her hair is extremely gray. But if you take a closer look, her hair is braided off to the sides differently (like zigzags) and there are stones and spikes on her the necklace’s chain. Her eyes also appear to have some sort of a gray tint to them.
