Teo is a fearless young man. He is currently living at the Northern Air Temple with his father and many others. His town was burned down years ago, and he and the people of his old town found the abandoned air temple and decided to move in and make it their own. One of the main reasons the people at the Northern Air Temple have gliders is because the mechanist (Teo’s dad) wanted Teo, a paraplegic boy who lost the use of his legs at a young age in a flood, to be able to move with freedom like he could before. He’s a very skilled glider, as he was almost able to keep up with Aang. He was very anxious at showing Aang the entire temple, and was the reason why Aang opened the doors to the NAT sanctuary. (Teo originally asked him and Aang said no initially, but later said yes after reconsidering) An adventurous young lad is Teo. He is frequently on his glider exploring the area and also enjoys wandering around via his wheelchair. He’s another ally against the fire nation and does not like his father’s inventions to be used for evil. Teo was one of the ones who helped defeat the Fire Nation’s attack on the temple. To this day, Teo continues to live freely at the Northern Air Temple, going wherever his glider will take him.
