Fanlistings: None Chey is the only the second solider in Fire Nation History who deserted his post and live to tell about it, the first being his leader Jeong Jeong. When Chey saw the Avatar in a Fire Nation city he followed him and helped him and his friends escape when soldiers discovered that Aang was the avatar. He used his knowledge of fire works to seal their retreat on Appa. After telling his story to Aang and his friends he told them that Jeong Jeong was a great Firebending master and that he could help Aang lea Firebending. Unfortunately for Chey Jeong Jeong’s men “Escorted” them all to their camp. There Chey explained the situation to his leader but Jeong Jeong told him to tell Aang to leave. Towards the end of the episode we learn that shortly after Zhao’s men found Jeong Jeong’s campsite everyone in the camp disappeared… everyone except for Chey who was left behind.
