First Appeared: The Cave of Two Lovers

It’s no secret many people have been hurt by the Fire Nation. But one of the most hurt lives in a secluded Earth Kingdom clinic, which is surrounded by a vacant Earth Kingdom village. Her name is Song. Currently, she works as a healer with her mother. Her father was taken away from her during a Fire Nation raid many years ago.
Some time ago the teenage Song was burnt severely on the leg by the Fire Nation. She showed the burn to Zuko while Iroh was receiving treatment, and he seemed to sympathize with the gal.
Song tried to reach out to Zuko, under the assumption he was Earth Kingdom and his father was at war. However, we know this to be false. However, Zuko tried to keep his distance, not getting too emotionally involved and pushing Song away as she tried to get closer. You could tell she kind of had a thing for Zuko, but he didn’t return her affection or compassion. At the end of “The Cave of Two Lovers,” Song was seen peaking out the door with disappointment as Zuko was seen stealing one of her horses. Just before that, she told Zuko that there was still hope and that the Avatar had returned. You can sympathize with her more than just about every other character so far (except maybe Zuko).
