In order to keep everything we know about season 3 in one place, we have started this page. You may refer to this page as often as you like. When new information is given, we will post it here. But beware spoilers do exist on this page! Below is a list of the compiled season 3 information thus far.

General Information:

• The third season of Avatar will start on Friday, September 21st, 2007 (inside source, Comic-Con, Trailer)
• Episode 3.05 (title below) will be a "different" episode in the realm of "The Tales of Ba Sing Se" and "Appa's Lost Days" (Inside Source) It will be a fan serice episode featuring Ozai's Angels in swimsuits. (Comic-Con Panel)
• Episode 3.08 will be a darker and scarier episode (inside source)
• A two-part episode, containing episodes 3.10 and 3.11, will be the first "TV movie" of the season (inside source)
• Everyone will have new hair styles this season (PMX)
• Season 3 will feature an episode with Avatar Roku and Fire Lord Sozin, where "a lot of [our] questions about Roku and Sozin will be addressed" (AvatarSpirit.net Interview with the Creators)
• Joshua Hamilton wrote an episode in season 3 in which Katara and Toph have another altercation (Commentary on "The Chase" on the Book 2, Volume 2 DVD)
• The title of 3.06 is likely to startle the fandom if it's revealed (inside source)
• Season 3 is the last season of Avatar: The Last Airbender, featuring Aang and the crew. The World will be explored further in another story arc however. (Comic-Con Panel)
• The season 3 finale, otherwise known as the series finale, will conclude as a four-episode single night event on television (inside source)
• Season 3 will have 21 episodes; however, 320 and 321 were originally just 320, but the creators decided to expand the animation to last twice as long
  

Plot Details:

• Zuko will be looking for his mother at some point (TurboNick interview with the creators)
• Ty Lee and Mai will be developed more (PMX)
• We will get to see what life in the Fire Nation is like, and apparently everything there, including the grocery store, is propaganda from the Fire Lord (PMX)
• The characters Bumi and Koh, the face stealer, have been mentioned by the writers as characters who we may see again (DVD commentaries and interviews)
• More will be revealed about Avatar Roku, but not too soon (PMX)
• A new multi-episode villain will be introduced this season (inside source)
• Season 3 will terminate with an "epic battle" (SciFi.com interview)
• Teo will return. (Trailer)
• Zuko and Mai will be in a relationship. (Trailer)
• War Balloons return from episode 117. (Trailer)
• Sokka gets armor and learns some advanced fighting techniques. (Trailer)
• Lo and Li will return. (Comic-Con Panel)
• Young Roku is featured bending in flashbacks. (Trailer)
• Aang will have a new outfit . (Comic-Con Panel)
• Katara will have a new outfit . (Comic-Con Panel)
• Sokka will have a new outfit . (Comic-Con Panel)
• Toph will have a new outfit . (Comic-Con Panel)
