"The Last Airbender" Hits Theaters July 2nd, 2010! |

Jake here, and the news keeps piling up! Today, Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies announced the release date of the first Avatar live-action movie. It will hit theaters on July 2nd, 2010. Another significant development is the studios have dropped "Avatar" from the title (to avoid confliction with James Cameron's Avatar movie premiering in 2009).
