Dylan along with Jake, Alisa, Josh, and Michelle first discuss the recent early release of the Sozin's Comet book in the news segment and then go way in-depth into "The Western Air Temple."...see more
Dylan here and... what? The Sozin's Comet Finale Adaptation is now shipping from Amazon. This is earlier than the May 20th release date. And also way earlier than the July finale. When Amazon says something is in stock, it is usually in stock. I ordered with overnight shipping and it is estimated to come May 13th (because of no shipping on weekends). Will this contain Finale spoilers? We can only hope not or the finale may not be any sort of a surprise like we expected. Thanks to LORDs_angellos for the heads up!

"Audio transcripts" are a work-in-progress. Basically it is a concept where a bunch of us get together on Skype and record and episode using transcripts. There's no effects and no narrator, just dialouge. It's definitely worth checking out! Right now there's only one episode there, but this week we should be adding several more! There is also a link under the "Fun Time!" heading on the left.
That's it! Hope you guys enjoy the latest additions!
Dylan here and our 38th "From the Spirit World" Podcast is up! You can listen to it at iTunes or in the podcast page. Thanks to everyone who listened to it live! More details on our next live podcast soon to come!
For one,Newsarama hasa review of the Book 3, Volume 3 DVD. Note: Does contain spoilers on episode 312-315. Here is a snippet from one of the responses, though, that I found insightful:
"You know it's funny how people act like this is a new thing, but Nick has done this A LOT of time to other shows...best I can say is All Grown Up, the sequel series to Rugrats, the held off the last half dozen of episodes they had made for like YEARS and when they FINALLY aird them, they were at 6:30 AM! for a few weeks. And they STILL have a few unaired eps to show
Also i think another reason behind this is because they fear how Avatar's outshinned Spongebob to the point where Avatar ENDED Squarepants consecutive winning of "Best animated series" Kids Choice award, I mean look back at it, theyu reduced it to one of hte "Ticker Tape" reveals, they didn't even bother to give it a live annoucement! Spongebob IS loosing momentum and I think they wan tto continue the trend that they feel,m that cartoons are for KIDS! And Avatar hardly does that! I mean it's this reasaon, rumors state, that lead to the demise of Danny Phantom, because the audience watching it were TEENS and COLLEGE students! NOT Kids! So, yeah that COULD be a reason if you ask me"
"It’s also reported that Oakely and Weinstein are collaborating with Avatar: The Last Airbender writer and co-exec producer Aaron Ehasz on an animated Nickelodeon project titled Worst Class Ever. The proposed series takes place at a middle school and will feature comedian Patton Oswald (Ratatouille) in the lead voice role. Oakley and Weinstein will also provide voices, and characters were designed by Oakley."
One last thing, IGN is doing an Avatar-in-review-type thing and is reviewing each of the episodes, once a week. Their latest review is of "The Fortuneteller" and interestingly enough, the reviewer gave it lower marks than "The Great Divide." O_o EDIT: The latest review is actually for "The Deserter."
