Jake here, and yes it is finally time to reveal my list of all the episodes of Avatar, from number 1 to number 61. For those of you who have really good memories, you know this week was a big week in Avatar history - the 3-year anniversary of the season 1 finale "The Siege of the North" airing on TV for the first time was on Tuesday. On Monday, there was the 2-year anniversary of the season 2 finale, and Sunday was the one-year anniversary of "The Day of Black Sun." Because of this historic week, I thought it would be proper to post my much-anticipated rankings (at least anticipated by Nico ;)).
So click the "Read more" link for the much-anticipated episode rankings! |

Dylan here with some exciting news. We have our actors for Aang, Katara, Sokka, and Zuko! So far, the Aang and Katara castings are official, while Sokka and Zuko's actors are still "in talks."
Playing Aang will be "karate star" Noah Ringer. Virtually nothing is known about Ringer at this time. There are no pictures of him available and his age is unknown, but Aang was being cast for a 12-15 year old, so it is likely he is within that range.
Katara will be portrayed by Nicola Peltz. She played Macenzie in 2006 movie Deck the Halls. We do not know her age at this time.
In talks to portray Sokka is Jackson Rathbone. He played Jasper in the recent movie Twilight. Jackson is 23.
And last, in talks to portray Zuko is pop singer Jesse McCartney. Jesse is 21 and this will be his 3rd non-voice acting role in a movie where he does not play himself. Jesse represents the big name in the initially released group of actors. |

Jake here, just letting you all know DVD Screenshots are now up in the DF Gallery for episodes 316-321.
Check them out, and thanks to Jeff (Serpent_Guard) for taking the screenshots for us! Note some of the screenshots were accidentally deleted a while ago, but I should be able to retrieve them once I get my laptop back, so hang tight!
Something else I wanted to add: For those of you who are fans of both Avatar and Twilight, some DF-ers have started a podcast and site right here on DF to express their love of the latter. I am not running it so please don't direct any Twilight-related questions to me. Instead, Jeff (Serpent_Guard) and Michelle (Waffled Flambe) are in charge of this sub-site, and you can email them at castlecast(at)gmail.com. Check the podcast out, chat with them and help them expand on this exciting new project!
Oh and I'm 20 today - so what did ya'll get me? : D |
