Dylan here with a new event or feature for Dongbu Feng to try to help get us by these news-less times until Korra’s premier comes closer. Each Tuesday I will post a “Question of the Week.” In the post each Tuesday I’ll leave my thoughts on the question to help get discussion started. From there you can leave your own opinions in the C-Box above and vote on the Question of the Week in the poll to the right. Presumably the following Monday or Tuesday I’ll post a recap of the week’s past Question with the poll results and some notable opinions from the discussion in the C-Box.
This weeks question is one we’ve hit on several times in the podcast before and have also discussed in the C-Box previously: Which season of A:TLA is best? You can read my thoughts by hitting “Read more...” and don’t forget to leave your own opinion in the C-Box and vote in the poll to the right. |

Dylan here and in an interview for lovefilm.com, The Last Airbender Producer Frank Marshall has this to say about the possible sequel:
"We have a script, and hopefully we will continue to do good business internationally like we did in the States and we'll get the good ahead by the end of the summer I would think."
TLA has grossed $182 million total so far with 30% of that coming from international markets. It opens in the UK this weekend among other countries. |

Dylan here and probably the most significant piece of information to come out of UGO’s talks with Mike and Bryan were that Mike and Bryan themselves would be writing every episode... every. single. episode. |

Dylan here and The Last Airbender has earned back its production budget of $150 million with a worldwide total of $153 million as of today. With any further domestic grossing negligible, Airbender would have to further dent its reportedly high marketing costs with international grossing, currently only standing at $27 million. Needless to say, a sequel now looks a lot less likely than it did after opening weekend. |
